EMC tests consist in verifying the functionality and behaviour of the test product when subject to electromagnetic interference from the mains supply network (conducted immunity) and from the environment (radiated immunity) and verifying the interference emitted by the product into the mains supply network (conducted emissions) or emitted into the environment (radiated emissions). General objectives: to determine the product’s response to external interference; to verify that the level of interference emitted into the environment or into the mains supply network is below the limits set down in the reference standards.
